A catch-all feature that is activated for a particular e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. In other words, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any misspelled email address under the very same domain, you’ll receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial in case you run some business, for example. Since you may begin receiving junk messages, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters so as to receive only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox with ease in case you’ve got a cloud hosting account with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet stunningly easy to use, and it will permit you to activate various features, including the catch-all one, with just a few clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be enumerated in alphabetical order in this section and on the right side of each one of them you’ll notice a tiny "Catch-all" button. Clicking it once will enable this option, clicking on it twice will deactivate it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have a different one with this option activated or if you have active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all functionality can be activated easily if you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have set up with the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated server account will be listed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you’ll notice a small-size icon handily situated directly next to each one. With only one click of the mouse, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your preference as long as there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with the option already enabled and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and enable the feature using the menu that will surface. In case any of the requirements for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will let you know, but will not replace or deactivate anything automatically.
